Just a quick note about yesterday, as I'm posting this before work a day late..
I wound up taking my bike to work, and by making a few adjustments to seat height and position, I'm nowhere near as exhausted by the ride as I had been previously. I've got a plan to tweak it a bit more so that I am using a larger range of motion on my legs, but I think I'll wait until I get into the groove of things.
Speaking of waiting to get into the groove of it, this is how you can easily get taken OUT of the cycling groove - waiting 10 minutes for a train to cross your trail. I don't have too many options to get around this either… if I go North, I have to ride on a major freeway. If I go south, I deal with an overpass that's still under construction.. Nevermind the incline to get there.
Wednesday will bring the management meeting to pitch the Intranet. Here's hoping it goes well.
