It's a little hard to see, but my 4th finger is bruised up and swollen from SOMETHING I did on Tuesday. I still can't figure it out exactly, but I was sitting on the floor with the kids, and I went to reach for something, landed on my hand weirdly, a crunch/pop later.. And here's what I'm left with.
At least it's not my ring finger, otherwise I think I may have had to break out the hack saw and get my ring off. Not that we've ever had to do that before…
Anyhow, it's the weekend, and we're trying to get things ready for Easter. We've got some friends of Riley coming over to do some Easter egg colouring, decorating cookies, and otherwise spending some time together. We did this last year, and had a lot of fun - so why not again?
My father will also be over this weekend, while we work on the bathroom in the basement a bit. Holly and I finished the drywall in the storage area, but the bathroom has always been a bit of a back-burner project: we have most, if not all the stuff, but it just hasn't been installed. We figure it's about time, so we'll be working on the drywall and electrical this weekend, I'll work on the floor during the week, and we'll take it from there.
Sunday will be the Easter routine - do an egg hunt for the boys in the morning, off to church, then out to visit my parents for dinner. Holly's mom, her grandfather, and possibly one of her sisters will be joining us, so it'll be interesting, if not good.
