April 30 - Feel like crap

April 30 - Feel like crap

Well, today is Saturday, and I think I'm going to get my post in on time - for what it's worth, anyways.  I feel like garbage today, which kinda makes for a downer weekend.

It started last night, after dinner..  My hands and feet were really cold while I was doing the dishes, and as we watched TV, I was breaking out in a sweat and stuff.  Fantastic!

It seems that I had a rough sleep, since I woke up sore and stuff, so going to Chiro was nice.  Didn't get my neck as much as I wanted, but sure made the rest of my back feel good and not hurt.  Certainly a welcomed releif.

After that, we were off to the Old Strathcona Farmers Market, which was busy as usual.  I forgot how much I enjoy going, and seeing all the stuff that people bring to sell.

Stop for lunch, and come home - and we get to today's picture.  I'd gone for a nap (though I had coffee at lunch, so I was more resting than sleeping) and Lukah had woken up.  Holly went to get him, and to our surprise, he opted to lay down beside me.  I know he looks a little bit grumpy in the pic, but we kinda had to force him for the sake of the picture.  Oh, and yes I know I have snowmen sheets on the bed - it's not quite warm enough to ditch the flannel.

The rest of the evening was uneventful, with the kids playing outside and Holly and I just doing our thing.  I made some bread (yay?), and discovered that the light in the oven had burnt out.  This presents a small challenge when I'm trying to use that light to generate a small amount of heat to rise the dough.  Ah well, oven on as low as it goes, and it seems to have worked for the most part.  I'll see what it tastes like in the morning.

So, providing that I feel better tomorrow, we're off for a 7k run that I still need to figure out where to go.  Other than that - nothing on the schedule.

Oh, and I just realised, as I was posting today's post, I mis-titled yesterday's.  I knew I wasn't feeling well.
