I got home late last night after working with Telus to get the new building setup. After a very long day, it's all working, so I can finally relax a bit.
Unfortunately, that meant I rolled in around 6:00 PM, somewhere around 90 minutes later than normal. After a bit of fun with the boys, Lukah decided that It was bath time.
And that's where we are here. Lukah chilling out in the bath tub, playing with some paint soaps and a Thomas the Train thingey on the wall. Otherwise having a good time not having to share with his brother.
I didn't post yesterday because I didn't take a picture, again. This is becoming chronic - I've kinda missed my 365 thing by a bit now.. I guess I'll see what the numbers show at the end of the year. For now, however, I'll continue blathering with a random picture I've taken while I'm out and about.
Anyhow - we're back from our long weekend in Calgary, after watching Heather do her first Half Iron Man triathlon. We got a ton of pictures, and I'd post some, but not really sure it's my place, ya know? It's her event. Part of me wants to post some of the funny pictures, which I suppose I could. All of the picture taking has made me want a new camera. Again. Arrgh.
I did manage to get out for a nice run while in Calgary - just a 10k from Heather's place, up towards the reservoir and back again. It was a nice day for it too - weather was nice, the people on the trails were nice, and I felt like I was going fast. Just in time to get back and do a 20k run this weekend.
Ugh.
So, we're off to do a modified version of the Run Wild half marathon from earlier this year, with an adjusted start point and cut a bit of distance off to make it 20 instead of 21.2.
And then.. I think we're done with the big distances for the clinic. Which means it's time for me to keep those distances up for Melissa's in late September.
Anyhow - tomorrow, I am looking forward to a nice quiet day, hopefully knocking some things off my to-do list that have been accumulating for a while.
