Today, with the weather being a balmy -33 outside, this mornings 6km was nice and quick. Coffee afterwards with Danie and Laurie was nice, and was a nice way to finish up the clinic for me.
Holly, the kids and I made our way up to Servus to get her run in for the day, but we had to call it short due to her foot hurting. In the end, it wasn't really a bad idea to call it quits - I wasn't really looking forward to running 32 laps around the track, but I am worried about the race which is in a month from now. So, since we're on the eve of being away for a bit, we'll see how the feet fare over the next few weeks, then book some time with a physiotherapist, and possibly get new shoes.
Of course, right at the end of my clinic, which means I'll lose my discount… oh well.
Today's picture - This is Riley working on a booster juice after swimming. I think it was either brain freeze that hit here, or maybe the sweetness of the drink.. I don't know, but I thought the look on his face was pretty darn funny.
Tomorrow... fundraiser at Northlands for Riley, Lukah and some friends. Should be lots of fun!
