This is about what the kitchen looks like first thing in the morning - 3 adults, 3 laptops, and the kids nowhere to be seen. They're actually behind me in the living room, playing away - but it's fun in some fantastical way to think my kids are behaving so nicely that I don't need to watch their every move to make sure they're not killing themselves or tearing the house down to its foundation.
Haha, sure - back to reality.
The post is a day late today due to yesterday's Birthday party. Lukah celebrated his 2 year early, and Thomas his 4th. A lot of people we didn't know (go figure…), but a lot of children in varying ages, so they all had someone to play with. Party was overall good - the full pig that Chris bought was a treat, and the roasted pig head on top was tasty, if not a bit weird (how about some roasted pig teeth? No? Me either). Anyhow, we were up really late cleaning up and such, and by the time I went to pick a picture to post my BB was so drained I couldn't boot it up to see what was on the SD card. So, ya'll get a late post.
Today I think we're off to see a friend I worked with in Edmonton, who also recently had a baby.. So we're trying to find something that varying age groups can do that isn't too time consuming. I think arts and crafts are on deck, which will be a change of pace for the boys.
