Whoa!!! Double posting all the way!
I still laugh when I think of that video. One podcast I was listening to had a great 8-bit version of the remix which I listened to over and over to until I was finished work. Not sure what I'm talking about? Check out the original.
Anyhow. Scroll down to the earlier post from today to see my son, Riley, going down mini-mountain in my back yard. This 10' run is apparently a lot of fun when you're 4.
Photo today.. Challah bread, which I learned is pronounced "Hal-la". At least, I think it is. The C is sure silent, kind of like the T in Tsunami. Except this is much more tasty.
The recipe came from The Family Dinner, and I'm not sure I'm allowed to reprint any part of the recipe, so I'll send you to Smitten Kitchen, who's version is eerily similar, except I used honey instead of sugar. Her finish is a bit different too - I split my dough in two, then each half into 3 chunks that I rolled out. I then asked Holly, who is much more familiar with this concept of braiding, braid the two sets of three rolls together to make two separate braided loafs.
Tasty nommy bread. Great transport mechanism for Nutella, which incidentally makes a stellar breakfast food.
Heather had sent me a link to some weekly tips for a Project 365.. project. There were some good ideas, but being from Digital Photography School, their suggestion for the project seemed to be more about learning how to use your camera much more effectively and become a better photographer. I guess my project is to watch my every day life a little closer and try to capture some of the things that go on. So.. I don't know, but 10 days in, I'm having a bit of fun with it.
Until tomorrow. Running clinic tomorrow night!
