Jan 3 - Homework

And now for something completely different!

With the resolution run done, and the Sunday practice run out of the way for the week, I haven't got any running related posts for today :)

However, today is the last day of the Christmas holiday, so I thought it was time to get going on some house-hold chores.  Cleaned the hot water tank out, lubed up the garage door, cleaned the furnace filter, and put up some shelves that Holly has been after for weeks.  Like, oh about 312 weeks.  Or 6 years.

So - up they go.  One trip to home depot for some wall anchors, and some quality time with the tool kit that Holly's mother got me for Christmas, two shelves, cut to fit, are up on the wall.

When I wrote up my New Year's Resolutions, I was careful not to put any "to-do" items on it.  I see resolutions as something you do to create long-lasting changes for yourself or others.  Whereas things like "electrical in the garage" is a big project, it's not something that will make me a "better person" in the long run.  It's hard to define the line, but if it can go on a check-list, it's not really a resolution.  I think.

Anyhow.  Tomorrow is back to work.  Hoo-ray.
