We have been talking about going camping for a little while now, so we took the plunge, got some new air mattresses, light weight sleeping bags, glow-sticks, and stuff for s’mores, and went camping.
In the back yard.
I mean, where else would you take a 4 year old who has never been camping? It’s the ultimate “emergency” camp site - things go bad, just go inside!
So I missed yesterday’s post, because once again, I didn’t actually have a picture. So instead of nattering on about Wuala or some drupal thing or another, I just decided to be quiet. “Project 365” is down to.. uh.. 360. That’s a nice round number to stop at, I suppose.
This week had been a little bit weird. My colleague has been over at our new facility all week (and last), so I’ve been playing the one-man-band for that time. Not that I mind - I usually feel very productive when I’m flying solo, but it’s weird this time - I’m solo, but not. This is just a demonstration of the culture shift that the company is going go have to go through when they change from one shop to multiple shops. I guess time will tell.
Looking towards a busy weekend - berry picking in the morning, jam making in the afternoon on Saturday, a 12k run on Sunday that I may abbreviate depending on how my legs feel, then out to see the grandparents (and their new car!) in the afternoon.
