July 2 - Farmers Market

July 2 - Farmers Market

Since it's only been open for a full month by now, and we havn't been up to the St Albert Farmers Market yet, we thought today would be as good as time as any.  So here we are, enjoying our Fat Franks hot dogs, playing in the sun and shade, otherwise relaxing a bit on a nice Saturday morning.

This is how holidays should be spent!

The day started out nice - Riley, Lukah and I rode our bikes down to the Timmie's to get a coffee (for me) and smoothie (for them).  Riley is getting better every day on the bike, so these little jaunts just give him more bits of practice.  As the training wheels are wearing down (and sliding up), I think he's starting to depend on them less and less.

So after Tim's, we're off to the farmers market, then back home.  During nap time for the boys (well, for Lukah since Riley won't nap until 5 PM or so), I managed to get the grass cut, the edges trimmed up and the car washed.  Nothing really on the to-do list per ce, but things that needed to get done at any rate.

Plus, who doesn't like the looks of a clean car?

After dinner, we took a quick walk up to the grocery store for some milk and eggs, and another quick walk back trying to not get eaten by the mosquitoes.

Tomorrow, I hope is pretty low key.  I think we're off to the mall to get some household stuff, but otherwise I'm looking forward to doing a lot of nothing.
