And another one from the inside of my car, on the way home from picking up Riley from Grandma and Grandpa. They had asked us on the weekend if they could see Riley sometime this week to take him to see Winnie the Pooh at the movies, so we had been hyping Riley up all week saying that Grandma and Grandpa had a suprise for him, etc etc. So I drop him off this morning, head off to work, and do the usual thing that goes on when I would drop him off for preschool.
I guess the movie went well, but after Riley asked where his suprise was.
Ah well. Hopefully someday when he's stuck in school, he'll remember these little things. Hah.. who am I kidding?!
Work is basically done for the week - EDO on Friday. We managed to get the server and switch set up at the new building, and the wireless controller mounted. We had to finish up some wiring as well, so we tied that off while we were in there. If all goes well, I should be able to plug in the router at the new building and have internet access.
That's assuming things go well. We're off to a rough start - the router I had installed at the main building can't be managed from my own network, but it's advertising itself to the network.. so it's there, it seems to be configured, but I can't access it. Project for Monday I suppose.
With tomorrow being an EDO, I don't think we're up to a whole lot. Plus with the weather rolling in (supposed to rain most of the weekend), it may be a low key weekend.
