This is Lukah at nap time today just after we switched him over to his new big boy bed. The mattress was actually an old mattress of mine that I parted company with when I moved into the house with Holly, and had been at my parents place since then, un-used.
The bed frame itself came from a friend at work, Lindsay, who's daughter was getting a new double size bed and no longer needed the twin. So, all in all, we managed to get Lukah a new bed through some good luck and help from family and friends!
Nap time went well, and he woke up a wee bit on the early side when we went in to check on him. So far he's sleeping in the gar corner by the wall, similar to how he would sleep in his crib. I imagine, that for a 2 year old, this bed is PRETTY HUGE and so finding his way into the corner with his stuffies and his blankets feels pretty safe. I know he'll get used to it, and he won't be stuck in the corner of his bed, but for now, he looks pretty scared to be in it.
Otherwise, quiet day today.. We got up to wal mart again and picked up some herbs and stuff that were on sale, and otherwise kept it low-key while we recovered in our own ways from the U2 show.
