June 6 - Thunderstorm!

It's rather difficult to capture lighting on my BlackBerry camera..  The delay of the shutter, the speed of the lightning..  It's the sort of thing that you can capture with a professional camera, not a cellphone camera.

Anyhow, first thunderstorm of the season, I suppose.  I imagine there have been others in Alberta, but the rain is long overdue.  It's nice how it makes everything so green.  I know darn well when the sun comes out that it's going to look all brown and dead again, but the grass sure appreciates it.

Busy day today - start of a 5 day week and the beginning of June.  The realization that a big project comes due in about a month has lit the fire under several people's butts, so it's another case of hit the ground running.
