March 14 - Spring has Sprung

Today, it felt like spring.  The sun was shining, the snow was melting, and I actually went outside with shorts and my winter jacket on.  Definitely springtime in Alberta.

Today's picture comes to you from the most wonderful time of the day, BED TIME!  Here's Holly and Riley having some nice hugs by the light of his mobile.

Speaking of bed times, I think we're all (well, except Holly) having a rough time with the daylight savings time change.  Lukah has been sleeping until noon, Riley slept in until 8, and I couldn't sleep after about 2 AM.

Sigh.  Somewhat unrelated, I am really looking forward to riding my bike again..  I think I sleep better when my activity level is up, and with the running over for now, I'm relatively sedate.

I am still running with Holly, and we have a race this coming weekend, but I would normally get 2-3 runs per week, and now we're usually 1, sometimes 2 times a week..  So yeah, I'm waiting for the roads to de-ice a bit so I can get back on the bike.

I'm also instructing the Intact Half Marathon with Laurie starting in May…  so  with some cycling, running, and hopefully a rollerblade to work at least once, I think I'm going to be cardiod out by the end of the summer.

So, tomorrow…  Moar Windows 7 migrations.  And the consultant in to fix the wireless, I hope.  I've been on transit just about every day (except for the days where I take Riley to preschool)…  today's LRT was manufactured the same year I was born.  Good thing it's still in service!
