Well.

10k St. Patrick's day race is marked as "fin", but it was a rough run.

Congrats to Holly for completing her first timed event, and her longest run ever!

I'm not sure how many people were there, but it felt like a lot.  The trails were crowded - we walked for the first little bit, but even then because the hot/cold we've had lately the trails were a weird kind of frozen slush.  There were places where it was icy on top and liquid underneath, so we would see these sheets of ice with a footprint all the way through..  Ugh, glad it wasn't me!

We certainly saw our fair share of people falling over, a few EMT golf carts moving people back to the finish line who had fallen and injured themselves really badly.

It wasn't quite the race we had all hoped for, but it's an accomplishment none the less.

So, other than the race, we had Heather staying with us for the night, which was a lot of fun.  The kids had a great time overwhelming her, and making her be a choo-choo train around the living room, and we had a good time catching up and playing some rock band and such.

This week: I have no idea what's on deck.  An intranet meeting will kick off tomorrow, and whatever else the week throws at me.
