This is a typical view for most parts of my ride on transit to and from work - waiting for the bus, waiting for the LRT, waiting for the bus, etc. At least the train runs every "15 minutes" which really turns out to be every 5 minutes or so. But today, it was a bit cold, kinda humid, and otherwise not a very fun day to be waiting around outside.
Quiet day at work today, thankfully. We did some Intranet stuff, with more to come later this week. Spent some time fixing the backups (again) and put off some more real work that I should be doing. Maybe tomorrow, I suppose.
I'm feeling pretty good after the race today, but I think Holly is a bit worse for wear. I feel bad that it wasn't quite the run she was looking for, and we're trying to find a run that we can do together that won't involve running through ice and snow.
We're already starting a bit of an uphill battle with the Intact half marathon clinic in May. We're coordinating (or, trying to) with the walking group, but there seems to be some communication issues between groups which I think is going to cause the two groups to run independently of each other.
Which is just perfect.
Anyhow - tomorrow.. Dealing with the stuff I have been putting off for a week or so and… that's about it. Hopefully another quiet day.
