March 28 - Pitas!

I never have been very good at taking food related photography.  Heck, the last couple of times I've tried, it's been of my brother (or his wife) in the act of preparing the food, not of the food itself.  So this is a bit of a departure from my usual bit.

What you see here is a Pita pocket in the oven,  actually having risen!  And made a pocket!  I'm really quite astounded that it worked - It was all I could talk about for a few minutes while I looked at them in disbelief as they came out of the oven.

The kids liked them too, but really, who doesn't like freshly baked bread right from the oven?  Especially when you don't have to have your mommy or daddy cut it for you?  So the Pitas and the sausages were a bit hit for dinner tonight, with both boys killing them off nicely.

Today was ye olde typical Monday, with a new guy starting, and hitting the Intranet pretty hard.  We've got all one section moved in, and we're working on tagging the documents appropriately.  Next step(s) will be the other big section, which doesn't have any particular structure, which roughly translates to more time invested.
