March 31 - It's Friday! It's Friday!

While it's actually Thursday, I've got tomorrow off, so today is my Friday.  I can't remember what this is called - is it a long weekend?  Is it an extreme weekend?  I have no idea.  I guess I'll go with long weekend.

To add to that, I took a half day today!  The boys and Holly met me at work to pick me up for lunch and a trip to Ikea, which is what we have here - another photo of one of my children eating.  Yes, it’s a common trend, but really, they're so excited depending on what we're feeding them.  This would be frozen yogurt at Ikea, which was a bit of kid zoo today, being spring break and "kids eat free" for lunch.  Good deal, I have to admit!

At any rate, today kind of came and went: I missed sending out some announcements about some upcoming changes (software rollouts, networking changes), so I've skipped the software deployments for the weekend (since I won't be in the office tomorrow) and sent the networking change announcement from my blackberry for Monday morning.  None of its critical, so..  Eh.

Not much to say on the Intranet or Windows 7 front - I'm kinda getting back into my usual routine and we've got ~10 computers left to switch up to Windows 7, so we're calling it "done" with some cleanup to do.

This long weekend..  Probably get the boys some rubber boots so that we can go outside in the spring thaw, maybe get out for a run, go visit my parents, otherwise see what comes up!
