Here's yet another picture of yet another track that Holly and I ran around and around and around again. Today's track comes courtesy of Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, which has a nice (short) track with a small incline at one end, making stroller pushing that much more enjoyable!
While the track is nice (and short, which isn't so nice), the rest of the facility is a bit of a bust, at least compared to our usual track at Servus Centre in St. Albert. We found that Millennium was a little less friendly to get around in with the stroller - I couldn't get through the front door unless I took off the wheels. I couldn't get in the elevator unless I stood the stroller up on its front wheel and held it there. Once I got to the top floor, I had to go down some stairs before getting to the track. I don't particularly like running track at the best of times, but when you make it hard for me to get to, I'm that much less motivated to do it.
Maybe next time we take turns running on the dreadmill. I dunno, but I'm kinda done with running laps.
So today we have another late post. I should point out that the picture I take, and post, is always on the correct date, but the post has been late, generally because I've been feeling like ass, and I'm opting for sleep instead of playing around on the computer.
Which isn't 100% true either. We got home from my folk's place, and after putting the kids to bed I continued to play on the computer for another 30 minutes or so until succumbing to the power that is Tylenol Cold and Flu Nighttime.
So, this week… another short week on deck, but not of my own design: Friday is an EDO. I think I'm working on software deployments for the most part (still poking Adobe Acrobat with a stick) and probably some web stuff. We're holding off on the Windows 7 installs until we get some things sorted out with SP1. I've been playing with my Nintendo a bit lately, and running into some weird SD issues that I'll also be working on this week, provided that I can get some time on the TV!
