While it's a bit hard to make heads or tails of, this is the back of my bike, the seat is at the top of the frame, and obviously the tire at the bottom.
On my way in to work, it felt like I was going REALLY slow. So, I pulled over, checked the front wheel, it was spinning OK, checked the back wheel.. And noticed that the bracket between it and the bike frame had snapped. Well, crapola.. So I rigged it up for the rest of the ride, and tried to think about what to do about it in the meantime.
I got talking about it to a co-worker, who suggested a hose fitting clamp - which is what we see here. Hose fitting clamp holding the carrier to the bike, which was good enough to make it home for the day.
Now I just need to find the replacement piece.
Running clinic tonight went OK - 4k up and down through some of the northern parts of the city.
Not a whole lot on deck tomorrow, maybe running if I manage to get home on time.
