So here's a corpse of your oldest son :P
Happy mothers' day to all the mothers' out there!
You know, it's hard to be worried when he's got a goofy ass grin on his face.. But it was fun none the less. Riley and Holly got outside and played around with sidewalk chalk and drew flowers, hop-skotch game, and body outlines. Good fun!
Started the day off with a 7k run, the first LSD run of the Intact clinic. Only 15 more to go, I think.
After the run, we spent some time in the yard, playing in the sandbox and planning the next week's runs.
I've been using RunSaturday.com to plot routes around - it's a nice tool, tracks along roads, and makes maps that area easily sharable. It also allows me to download the track to my Garmin, but I've yet to try that functionality. Most of the routes I plot out are pretty simple - out and back, or predictive loops around a subdivision, so a route on the Garmin isn't really necessary.
It also doesn't help that the Garmin won't let me run a route and do intervals at the same time.. So, yeah. If I need a map, I print it out.
Anyhow, after the late morning relaxing, we head out to see my folks for Mothers' day dinner, with a yummy ice cream cake and all.
Tomorrow - bike to work, I think. It's almost getting warm enough over night for me to wear shorts . Maybe near the end of the week...
