Another weekend, and we find outselves back at Rona. I need to remember to shop at Rona more often on long weekends - the store was dead, and we basically had run of the garden center (though, who gardens at this time of the year?)
Holly wanted to get a few plants for the fall, to replace the dead ones in the front. We were also looking for anything that might have been on sale - rain barrel, equipment that we had put off buying, etc. Nothing to be found, unfortunately - just the plants that they're obviously trying to clear out.
We spent the afternoon getting back on top of the yard work… whippersnipping, mowing, and I even went so far as to rake out all the clippings from the year. Reminded me that I need to hire someone next spring to do some yard work.
Otherwise, we're up for a pretty low key weekend. I'm off for a quick run on Sunday morning, and we're all going out to see Grandma and Grandpa sometime early afternoon. Still up in the air if I'm going to ride out, but we'll see how I feel after the run.
