September 8 - From the other side

Making reference to the other day when we went for a walk to see the duckies, here we are on the other side of our .. lake.

Not much of a lake to speak of, but enough to attract some critters and get the boys interested.

We were out for a walk to Dairy Queen for some ice creme (hey, I rode my bike for 2+ hours, I'm allowed!) and came back through here to avoid the traffic that accumulates around the spray park.  With the heat that we've been seeing this week, the spray park and playground has been busy as ever, and walking (or running) beside traffic kinda sucks, so we tend to avoid it as much as we can.
